Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2, 2026 · Version 2026-10-02

This Privacy Policy explains what information LCF Strategic Grant Solutions collects through its website, the DMV Funding Desk and the client workspace, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. It describes the Service as it currently operates during the limited beta.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we collect:

  • Account and sign-in information: your email address and authentication identifiers. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive basic account details from Google (such as your email and name) needed to sign you in.
  • Profile and organization information you enter, such as display name, organization name and type, and service location.
  • Grant seeker and government contracting questionnaire answers.
  • Organizational documents you choose to upload, and LCF's review status for them.
  • Application, proposal, match and outcome information recorded in your workspace.
  • Your responses to LCF requests, and correspondence with us.
  • Records of which version of our Terms, Privacy Policy and Disclosures you accepted, and when.
  • Security and technical logs kept by our service providers, such as sign-in events, error reports and standard server request logs.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and secure your account and operate the Service.
  • Have LCF staff review your questionnaires and documents.
  • Identify and explain potential opportunity matches and readiness gaps.
  • Manage requests, deadlines, tracking and in-app notifications.
  • Respond to support questions and protect the Service against misuse.
  • Keep records we reasonably need, such as consent and audit history, and to improve the Service.

3. How matching and analysis work

Matching, readiness and fit labels are produced by rule-based checks in our software combined with review by LCF staff. A person at LCF reviews matches before they are shown to you. The Service does not currently send your questionnaire answers or documents to an artificial intelligence model for analysis.

4. Who can see your information

You can see your own records. Authorized LCF staff can see your information to provide the Service. Other clients cannot see your records.

We use service providers to run the Service, including Lovable (website hosting and application platform) and its managed database, authentication and file storage service, and Google if you choose Google sign-in. These providers process information on our behalf to provide their services.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares standard request details such as your IP address.

Creating an account does not share or submit your information to any funder, sponsor or agency. LCF shares information with a funder only as part of support you request or authorize.

5. Email inquiries

The inquiry form on our homepage opens a pre-filled message in your own email program. That message is sent through your email provider, not through the Service, and is not a secure document upload. Please do not include sensitive information in email.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The Service stores your sign-in session in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. We do not currently use advertising cookies or install third-party analytics or advertising trackers in the Service. Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs and aggregate visit statistics, and may collect error reports to keep the Service working.

7. Uploading documents safely

Upload only the organizational documents LCF requests or that are needed for your workspace. Before uploading, please redact Social Security numbers, bank account or login credentials, medical information and personal information about program participants unless LCF has specifically requested it. Our public pages do not ask for EINs, tax returns or participant data.

8. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide the Service and maintain your account history, for legitimate security, consent and audit records, and to meet legal obligations. Archiving an item or removing it from your view does not necessarily erase it; some records and files are kept for audit purposes.

You may request deletion by contacting us. Some information may be kept where needed for security, audit, legal or dispute reasons, and copies may remain in backups until they are replaced in the normal course.

9. Your choices and requests

You can view and update your profile in the client workspace. You may ask to access, correct, receive a copy of, or delete your information, or ask questions about this policy, by contacting lavette@lcfgrants.com or (571) 354-8724.

We will take reasonable steps to verify your request, usually by confirming it from the email address on your account. We will not ask you to email identity documents. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our decision at the same contact.

10. Children

The Service is intended for adults acting for organizations or applicants. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Security

We use safeguards such as role-based access, row-level database permissions, private file storage and staff-only review tools. No system can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Updates will be posted here with a new version and date, and we will ask you to acknowledge material changes before continuing to use the client workspace. Third-party services such as Google have their own privacy notices.
